Lightel Supplies High Power Tap Couplers for Fiber Lasers

High power tap couplers are often used in fiber lasers and optical amplifier applications for optical power monitoring. Lightel’s fiber optic high power tap couplers are manufactured using the reliable and proven Fused Biconic Taper (FBT) process. The devices are available in 1×2 or 2×2 configurations supporting wavelengths from 980nm to 2000nm and can be fabricated using polarization maintaining, multimode, and single clad or dual clad fiber. All Lightel tap couplers are 100% tested at customer specified optical powers up to 150W.
